Laurel is a Butte native who appreciates the state she is fortunate enough to live in.  Montana's four seasons cause an ever-changing environment and provide constant inspiration.  Laurel likes to us a medium she feels it compatible with the subject, so her paintings can be done in oil, acrylic, pastels, inks, or watercolor.  Even though she considers herself a painter first, she enjoys expanding into other medium such as jewelry and fiber arts. 

     Laurel's career was as a medical librarian, but is grateful for the opportunity to make art a second career.
